San Francisco South Bay Yacht Racing Association Delegates and
Skippers:
Next up for SBYRA's 2007-2008 Winter Races will be Winter #3 on
Saturday, January 5 on the Oyster Point YC race course - also just
north of SFO.
The RC will be looking to start Division A at 1200 hours with the
Nonspinnaker boats following at 1205.
Opportunities will also be given to Novice Division boats for
practice starts at 1210 and thereafter so long as they've completed
an entry form for the race.
In this regard all skippers who don't normally sail with the
association are encouraged to participate in individual races by
completing the entry form (that can be downloaded from the SBYRA
Internet site) and mailing same to Jocelyn Swanson (Zingara) plus
the modest entry fee.
Do plan now for sailing in all of our South Bay races next year by
downloading the attached 2008 racing calendar that will also appear
in Latitude 38's Northern California racing calendar booklet plus
the January edition of the world's best sailing magazine itself.
Speaking of the Internet, our webpage can now be accessed by going
to www.sfsbyra.org thanks to the effort of our webmaster, Mike Brna
in Colorado.
So my best to all for the holidays and I look forward to seeing
everyone in 2008 on the first Saturday in the new year.
Best...
